As the parent company of HopCat, Stella’s Lounge, Grand Rapids Brewing Co. and The Waldron Public House, Barfly Ventures has a lot on its plate— and a lot of happy customers. Majority owner Mark Sellers opened the HopCat location in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2008, with a vision: to treat not only guests and employees like family, but to reduce waste and be kind to the Earth.

These days, the Barfly Ventures locations— throughout Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Missouri, Kentucky and Illinois— are thriving and up to 90% of waste from each site is diverted from the landfill. It’s no surprise that customers love Barfly Ventures establishments, and now with its SiteZeus partnership, the growing company will be able to expand into new markets and open new locations with confidence and data-based guidance.
